About Live at Five

Live at Five is a live public access television show produced as a partnership between OlyFilm, AKA the Olympia Film Collective, and TCMedia, AKA Thurston Community Television. The goal of the project has always been to include as many people as possible.

95 people from Rochester to Lynnwood WA participated in the June 3, 2023 Live at Five. There were 20 writers, 72 actors, 40 crew members, and 5 musicians. We had 3 sponsors donate to us and 5 businesses allow us to shoot in their establishments.  4 new OlyFilm shorts were produced and 4 live skits for a total runtime of 50:22. 

This program was only possible with the help of it’s volunteers. 130 creatives have worked on this episode, 78 actors, 26 writers, 21 crew members and 5 musicians all donated their time to make this possible. Special musical Guest Dublin Abbey appeared. Partnerships with Hands On Children's Museum and Senior Services for South Sound brought together actors of all ages.
