About Live at Five

Live at Five is a live public access television show produced as a partnership between OlyFilm, AKA the Olympia Film Collective, and TCMedia, AKA Thurston Community Television. The goal of the project has always been to include as many people as possible.

95 people from Rochester to Lynnwood WA participated in the June 3, 2023 Live at Five. There were 20 writers, 72 actors, 40 crew members, and 5 musicians. We had 3 sponsors donate to us and 5 businesses allow us to shoot in their establishments.  4 new OlyFilm shorts were produced and 4 live skits for a total runtime of 50:22. 

The next Live at Five is scheduled to go live on Saturday, December 2nd 2023 at 5pm on TCMedia's channel 22 and 77. Writers meetups are planned for Saturday, September 23rd and Auditions are planned for Saturday, September 30th.
